Our promise: every UCAS points figure on this site is accurate, current for 2026 entry, and traceable to an official source.

Where our data comes from

All Tariff points come from the official UCAS Tariff — the scale UCAS publishes and uses. We build a single verified dataset from it and reference that everywhere, so no page can quietly drift out of step with another. For entry requirements and application rules, we follow guidance from UCAS and, where relevant, gov.uk.

How we keep it accurate

• One source of truth. Points live in one dataset; tables, calculators and guides all read from it.
• Automated checks. Before anything is published, automated tests confirm our anchor values (for example, an A-level A* = 56 points) and flag any combination that doesn't add up.
• Expert review. Our content is reviewed by Dr. Lila Sharma, UK Education Policy Specialist, to make sure our explanations match how admissions really work.
• Regular updates. We review pages each cycle and around key moments — results day and Clearing — and date-stamp every page so you can see when it was last updated.

When something is uncertain

The Tariff doesn't cover every qualification, and many competitive courses make offers in specific grades, not points. We say so clearly rather than implying a precision that doesn't exist, and we point you to the university's own course page for the final word.

Corrections

If you spot anything that looks wrong, please tell us. We check reports against the official UCAS Tariff and fix genuine errors promptly, updating the page's "last updated" date when we do.
